Will be picking up my grandson today for the first time so thought I would browse the school website - really enjoyable and sent out a positive image of a caring and energising environment. Looking forward to seeing the real thing!

Wow! The GAPS website is certainly better since I was there nearly four years ago :) Just wishing the older pupils good luck on their journeys to LVC; I'm a year 10 now and it really isn't as scary as it first seems. :)

Packed Lunch - I'm guessing lots of parents are like me and struggle to find interesting and healthy food for lunch boxes. Often I put in the same items and I'm sure my girls get bored. They often talk about what they have seen in other lunches, so I wondered if we could set up a 'lunch box challenge'. This could involve parents swapping ideas for lunches and each week a type of food or recipe is featured. Perhaps children who bring in (and eat!) the food of the week could be rewarded with stickers? Maybe there could be an area on the web site for exchanging of ideas?

Hello Great Abington! I've just been looking at your website and wanted to say how lovely it is and also to see if I could spot any familiar faces from when I was at GA! I did spot some - but you've all grown so much (children that is!). Hope you all have a wonderful year.

I am so enthused, having just watched the Skipping workshop show. It was wonderful. All the children were engaged, from Reception to Y6. One of the great strengths of this school, is the broad curriculum it offers, of which this was a good example. Thank you for providing the children with so many varied opportunities, celebrating all the diverse skills of all the children.

This website has really improved since the last one. I am a past pupil from year 5 (1 and a 1/2 years ago) and it is a great school. You make friends son easily as everyone is willing to be friends with everyone else.

Well! Some things HAVE changed since I ended my schooldays at Great Abington Primary School in the summer of 1968. The only website we had in those days was the early morning dew on the hedgerows. This website is very neat - but then, Great Abington Primary School has always been top class. Am I still so biased? :)
